Sinking Sideways is a Flemish, contemporary circus collective. The three acro-dancers Dries Vanwalle (Belgium) Raf Pringuet (Belgium) and Xenia Bannuscher (Germany) make choreographies together.

Artists Dries Vanwalle (Belgium) Raf Pringuet (Belgium) and Xenia Bannuscher (Germany) met each other during their studies in the Circus School of Codarts University of the Arts (Rotterdam, NL). All three specialised in acro-dance so they quickly found one another. Xenia and Dries graduated in July of 2020 and Raf graduated in July of 2021.
