Splash
Splash invites the audience on a journey towards an absurd dream world far away from everyday reality, where a swimming pool filled with 25,000 balls stands in the center, and where water activities form the starting point for a juggling feast.
With Splash, Jam.Shenanigans wants to share the love for the comically absurd circus with the general public. Jam.Shenanigans wants to promote healthy madness as a counterweight to a polarizing and self-preparing society. They want to stimulate the imagination of the audience and bring out the beauty of a youthful spirit. All this through object manipulation, physical theater and visual illusions, topped with a good dose of humor and madness.
Splash is an outdoor family show. The creation starts in January 2024, the premiere is scheduled for May 2025.
With this performance Jam.Shenanigan's finalist for CircusNext 2024. CircusNext is a European circus label in which makers are selected by a European jury based on their peculiarity and creativity.
